Review / Release Blitz: Star-Crossed Letters (Falling for Famous #1) by Sarah Deeham

Star-Crossed Letters by Sarah Deeham is now live!

One girl with a typewriter + one movie star = anonymous pen pals, a secret crush, and a steamy, slow-burn summer to risk it all.

The bookshop barista...
When I sold a vintage typewriter, I never imagined its new owner would become my pen pal, best friend, and secret crush. We have two rules: no photos and no real names.

Over the years, "Remington" and I go from typewritten notes to daily texts, but our rules stay the same. And so does my life. I'm a wannabe writer who can't complete a novel, and I've fallen for a guy who I've never met. So when I receive a letter my Nanna wrote before she died encouraging me to embark on a summer of risks--my first on the list is to break all the rules.

& the celebrity...
I hate keeping secrets from my pen pal, the one woman I care about. But I'm Hollywood's hottest celebrity, and my fame is toxic. If I get close to a girl, she becomes vulnerable, stalked by the tabloids, trolls, and superfans.

Our anonymous friendship works until "Typewriter Girl" suddenly ghosts me. Now, I'll do anything to ensure she's safe, including stepping out from behind the screen and leading a double life.

MY REVIEW

Olivia and Chase have been pen pals and best friends for years, have never met, but have all these strong feelings for each other. They also have rules, set from the beginning, that govern their friendship. Rules like no telling real names and identities. But when she sends him a selfie and asks if they can meet, she's soundly rejected. Perhaps she shouldn't have taken her other bestie's advice and taken a risk and stepped out of her comfort zone after all...

Chase's life is nuts. As a Hollywood A-lister, he has no privacy, and has rabid fans who would completely overwhelm his Typewriter Girl. He knows she couldn't handle his life, so he's set on never being able to meet her. Even when she sends him a selfie and her real name, he knows he just can't subject her to his world. But when she ghosts him after his rejection, he knows he has to go find her. Sneaking into her life, showing his true face to her will either be the best thing he ever did, or the one thing that completely severs their friendship.

Wow, what a debut novel Star-Crossed Letters is! I could just feel Olivia and Chase's emotions through their letters, then their texts. I love the way they develop from friends to best friends to secretly longing for more. Their story is definitely slow burn, deliciously so, but when they finally meet and discover their true identities, it was inevitable that their chemistry would sizzle even more than through their letters and texts. I love this world the author has created, and am impatiently awaiting Poppy and Ronan's story next when Star-Crossed Christmas lands on my Kindle.

This man's touch had me coming undone. Not only is he tall, brilliant, gorgeous, and sexy as sin, he left me wanting more. He haunts my fantasies until I read about him: Senator Bennett Stone. Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It
