Tess has had a crush on her brother's best friend since she was a little girl following them around. Now she's grownup and should be over her crush, right? But perhaps not, as now that Drew is finally seeing her as someone other than just his friend's pesky little sister, she wants to explore their attraction, finally be with the guy she's been dreaming of forever.
Drew's seeing Tess in a whole new light. But he knows better than to be thinking of her that way because Bro Code and all that. But Tess is more than just beautiful and he feels more for her than just physical. He isn't sure where to go from here, he just knows how feels, even if he knows her brother will not approve.
Drew and Tess are absolutely the sweetest. Drew's not the stereotypical cocky football player - he's really the opposite, wants to fall in love, is insecure at times, and definitely awkward at expressing himself to Tess. But boy is he swoony and sweet and gorgeous. Tess is funny and shy and bold at turns, and so perfect for and with her Drew.
