MY REVIEW

When Eva needs to be married so she can legally take guardianship of her baby niece, who else to ask to marry her than her best friend, Levi? They only have to stay together for a year or so, they already care about each other, so there shouldn't be a problem, right? Except neither of them counted on pesky little more than friendly feelings to pop up, for their fake marriage to be on the verge of feeling very real.

Levi's a playboy, bachelor to the extreme, so he really isn't the right person for his best friend to be asking for a marriage, fake or no. But, he would do anything for her, he can't say no. He already knows there won't be a problem with his heart or anything, but perhaps he underestimated himself, underestimated just how easily they would cross that line. Now he has to make sure she knows he wants their marriage of convenience to be more than in name only. His reputation, one she knows is well-deserved, has come back to bite him in the ass, though, and he needs to lay everything on the table, be more than the playboy he's always been.

Such a sweet friends to lovers story! Levi doesn't seem like he'd make a good husband, but once he's married, he turns into a swoon worthy dad, then in short time, husband. Since Eva is his best friend, they have that easy chemistry, that coupled with close proximity and their already dormant feelings, soon flares to life in delicious ways. Friends to lovers can be iffy, and not always successfully written, but in Natasha's hands, Eva and Levi with their adorable baby, prove that friends really make the best lovers.
