Review / Release Blitz: Takeover (Kings of the Boardroom #1) by Nana Malone

Takeover by Nana Malone is now live!

An arranged marriage is my family’s last chance… I have to marry a ruthless stranger to save them.

Billionaire Atticus Price wants my father's struggling empire. Even worse, he wants me. Immediately. Irrevocably. He isn't a man who accepts no for an answer.

This is a hostile takeover, and somehow I’ve become the price.

I'll protect the people in my father's company, even as my father sells it to the highest bidder—along with me. That doesn't mean I'll be the meek bride he expects.

It's a sensual battle of wills. He's the king of the boardroom, and he'll make me his queen. At any cost. Falling for him is a weakness I can't afford.

TAKEOVER is a thrilling new billionaire romance from Wall Street Journal & USA Today bestselling author Nana Malone. WARNING: Contains a hero who takes what he wants.

MY REVIEW

Gwen's manipulated into an arranged marriage that she has her own reasons for agreeing to. Atticus, the man she's to marry also has his own reasons for agreeing. She to protect her team at her family's company and her mom's memory, and he to gain control of his family's company. Thankfully they have intense chemistry, so a marriage, even an arranged one, won't exactly be a hardship, but can they turn their arranged marriage into a real one? Maybe, if a last obstacle can be overcome.

Atticus is fascinated by the woman who just accidentally glitter bombed him, too bad she gets away from him before he can have more than a few words with her. But thankfully the arranged marriage he's roped into is with the same beautiful woman. He knows their marriage isn't real but his feelings are quickly becoming real, intense, and he's already possessive of his intelligent, kind-hearted wife. He's determined to keep her, but at the last minute, someone drops a revelation on him that throws a huge obstacle in their way. Is there any possible way they can overcome this latest twist?

Why?!?! Just to get it out of the way - there is a brutal cliffhanger at the end of Takeover, and it had me screaming at my Kindle. OK, rant done, now onto my actual review. Nana does alpha so well. Atticus is a hot, possessive alphahole, matched only by his fierce and soft-hearted Gwen. The sparks fly from their first meeting, and I wanted them to be together as soon as they started snarking at each other. I have to admit I'm really not sure how Nana can possibly get them out of the mess they're in, so if Acquisition could possibly land on my Kindle like yesterday, I'll be a verrrrry happy woman.

Meet Nana

Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves all things romance and adventure.

That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
