Review / Release Blitz: Billionaire Grump (New York Billionaires #2) by Julie Capulet

Release Date: June 30

It was supposed to be a fake date. It turned out to be true love.

My assignment is simple. I’m the fake date of billionaire Alexander Maddox for the weekend. My job: to attend a Hamptons wedding with him and convince all the heiresses and socialites competing for his attention—including his ex, who happens to be the wedding planner—that he’s very much taken.

Alexander Maddox is the oldest of the four Maddox brothers, Manhattan’s most eligible bachelors. He’s also the CEO of his family’s legacy investment empire. Loaded beyond belief. And, according to rumors, sexy as sin. But this is strictly a business arrangement.

It’s also an excuse for me to get out of town for a few days. I didn’t exactly mean to break into my estranged father’s house and accidentally discover his offshore bank account details. Or to leave those details lying around where my hacker of a little brother with a serious vendetta might find them. He covered his tracks, he said, but we both know it was never going to be that easy.

My plan: to lay low, spend the weekend by the pool, play my part like I’m an Oscar nominee and hope the little incident blows over by Monday morning.

But my weekend doesn’t go according to plan. Alexander Maddox turns out to be the most infuriating man I’ve ever met. And also the hottest—so hot, in fact, that I end up giving him much, much more than I bargained for.

When the banking incident turns out to be a tiny bit more serious than I imagined, things get complicated. But by then I’ve already cashed in my V-card with the sexy billionaire and made a run for it—or at least tried to.

How do I get myself into these messes? And how did I let myself get knocked up by a possessive grump who suddenly seems to think I’m his one and only?

Against all odds, I think he might be right.

Billionaire Grump is a sexy standalone billionaire romance starring a grumpy CEO and the sassy fake date he never saw coming.

MY REVIEW

Ivy has been raising her teen brother for years, and now that he's been accepted into college, she's really trying to find the money to help him. So off she goes to their estranged father's home, to meet with him and give him one last chance to be in their lives, for her brother's sake. Unfortunately, all that trip got her was trouble that she can't afford. So when a fake date, blind date situation comes up that will net her a good check, she can't say no. Even though the man in question turns out to be completely on her nerves, he's also a gorgeous, possessive, grumpy alpha that she can't help but be attracted to. Too bad she has to go back to her life after this weekend and never see her billionaire grump again.

Oh how glorious it is when the grumpy alpha falls and doesn't even know what's going on. He took one look at Ivy and was in love, even if he didn't know what he was feeling. And he did his best to keep her even though she kept trying to run from him. She was sassy and sweet and deserved the love he didn't even know he was capable of. These New York Billionaires do insta-love so well! Their women come along, knock them off kilter, and their hearts are never the same again.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
