Review / Release Blitz: You, Me, and Lucky Number 13 by Kristy Marie

YOU ME AND LUCKY NUMBER 13 by Kristy Marie is now live!

Cole:
I used to rule the racetrack. Now, I'm just a hothead on a losing streak. Desperate for a win, I've alienated everyone, burned every bridge, and run out of options. Except one. Lola Quinn: the brilliant, fiery engineer who could turn my luck around. Too bad she hates my guts. Five years ago, I walked away from her, leaving a trail of heartbreak and regret. Now, I'm back with an offer she can't refuse... if I can convince her to forget the past and take one last chance on me.

Lola:
My career is toast, thanks to my spectacularly bad judgment. Now I'm jobless, desperate, and considering a proposition from the one man who could make things worse: Cole Lawson, Formula One's hottest driver... and my former best friend. His proposition: fake girlfriend, fake relationship, and an actual job. It's a terrible idea. A recipe for a high-octane cocktail of chaos and charm. And unfortunately, I am still a sucker for both.

MY REVIEW

Lola's down and out when her former best friend offers her a lifeline - fake date him, become his race engineer, help him with his PR problem. He's the last person she should trust, considering Cole broke her heart back in the day, but she really doesn't have any other choice. Now the two are back in each other's lives and their chemistry burns just as hot as before. She may be fake dating him, but that certainly doesn't mean she'll give him her heart to break again.

The banter is top notch between Lola and Cole. She is the sassiest, funniest, take no bs heroine I've read in a long time, and it's the perfect contrast to her cocky but loving alpha racer. Cole and Lola's second chance story is the kind I love most - sassy, snarky banter, delicious chemistry, and two lovable leads who so deserved their second chance at love.

Meet Kristy Marie

Kristy Marie is an international bestselling author who loves writing temperamental heroes who fall hard for strong and witty heroines.

She enjoys harassing her three children and husband for all the hugs and will attempt to grow anything green. She also reads all things romance and can be caught being naughty by enjoying a chapter or two before her 9 p.m. bedtime.

When Kristy's not writing broody alphas or hugging babies, you can catch her in pajamas watching baseball and yelling at the TV. Go Braves!

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
