Review of Lessons from a One-Night Stand (The Baileys Book 1) by Piper Rayne

LESSONS FROM A ONE-NIGHT STAND

When Austin finds out his last ONS is his new boss - as in, the big boss, the principal of his school, yeah, he doesn't react that well. He tries to inject some humor into announcing her to the school, but that doesn't go over so well, either. Sigh...

Holly is glad to be in a new town at a new school, but when she finds out her latest ONS is a coach/teacher there? Yeah...not so great. But, and that's a BIG but, she and Austin have undeniable chemistry, and soon they're indulging in secret trysts, and feelings are sprouting all over the place. But, when Austin is offered his dream, a dream that will take him away from their town and away from Holly, will he reach out and take it? Can he really walk away from the woman he's falling for?

I absolutely loved Lessons from a One-Night Stand!! It's sexy, sweet, snarky fun and Austin is the most charming form of trouble that Piper Rayne has ever written. Holly is perfect for him and I love that SHE was the boss and Austin knew it. The Baileys series is off to a hot start with Austin and Holly's love story, now I can't wait for more!!

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
