When Vivian meets Mani at his posh restaurant, it's insta-love at its finest. Mani's never met a woman who distracted him from his restaurant before, but there's something mesmerizing about Vivian - she's definitely his boom. Can he figure out a way to let her know he's all in?



I loved this part of the Happily Ever Alpha world. It's sweet and sexy, and Mani and Vivian are a fabulous couple with sizzling chemistry. For an insta-love story, this one is pretty great!

UNTIL MERRI

Tom and Merri (Millicent) have been best friends in love with each other for years when Tom finally can't stand it any longer and asks her out. He has the grand idea to go kind of slow and date her and make everything memorable, but after their first date, they can't keep their hands off each other and they take a very fast trip to more than friends with a side of kink. Yep.


Until Merri is short and sweet, but it didn't totally work for me. The transition from friends to lovers was a bit awkward and their sex scene didn't generate anything but cringing in me. I appreciated their comfort with each other, and I love how much they obviously loved each other, both as friends, and as more, so 3.5 stars is fair.

UNTIL TWYLA

Jensen's heard all about THE BOOM from his fellow friends and officers, but he's never experienced it and doesn't think he ever will. Then he spies a gorgeous woman who's being manhandled by a drunk asshole at the bar where's he's with friends. It's instantaneous, the connection the two feel, and when he later rescues her again from the same jerk, both Jensen and Twyla know they'll be together forever.



I love Until Twyla!!! It's my favorite of the Happily Ever Alpha series because it feels like a complete novel in a novella length timeframe. It may be insta-love, but the feelings Jensen and Twyla have for each other feel natural, not to mention they're HOT together! Until Twyla has it all - interesting, likable characters, a little bit of suspense, electric chemistry, and an engaging, fast-paced storyline.
