Maura and Brock were young and in love until they were torn apart. Now, 12 years later, Brock's back, but this time, as an FBI agent bent on discovering who the killer is, who killed all the women back then, and who is killing them now. Will he and Maura have a second chance at first love? Will Brock discover who the killer is?
I have to admit that this story bored me a lot. I skimmed through major portions, and never quite got into it. I did think the case itself was interesting, though, and the saving grace of the story, because the relationship was boring. The ending was rushed, rather than a proper detailed investigation and conclusion given. Sadly, this story missed the mark for me.

She is also the founder of “The Slush Pile Players,” presenting something that’s “almost like entertainment” for various conferences and benefits. Married since high school graduation and the mother of five, her greatest love in life remains her family, but she also believes her career has been an incredible gift, and she is grateful every day to be doing something that she loves so very much for a living.
