HARD PLACE (HARD TO LOVE BOOK 1)

Harper is a frazzled, hard-working mom of twins whose first meeting with her new boss is less than pleasant. And that was before she found out who he was. Oh boy...but once these two meet on mutual ground, they find there's an attraction that neither wants or has time for. She needs this job, so she cannot possibly have a thing with her boss. He needs to impress a potential client, though, so will she pretend to help him close the deal? What about when feelings catch fire?


Hard Place is a great start to a new series. It's a slow burn office romance with lots of tension, witty, snarky dialogue and chemistry that is obvious from their very first, not so cute meeting. Now I can't wait for Hard Truth. October can't come soon enough for this reader!

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
