Review: Stealing the Bride by Nadia Lee
When Pascal has a hot one night stand, she leaves behind what she thinks is fair compensation for her portion of the cost of the hotel room. Unfortunately, Court isn't quite as impressed with what she left, so he tracks her down and objects just as Pascal is about to say I do at her wedding. Um yeah...
Only it's not really Pascal he kidnaps and forces into his car. Nope, it's her twin, Curie! And the high jinks ensue from there. Along with some really sweet moments, lots of humor, and some down home realizations by both Pascal and Court.
This was such a fun, sweet read. Court isn't like most of the heroes I've been reading. He's not particularly alpha, nor is he forceful or a jerk. No, he's a big sweetheart whose biggest talent is making others feel good, making them happy, and I loved that about him. And Pascal is perfect for him with her math inclined brain and just as big heart. I'm not sure if Nate's story is next, but I hope so, because I love the world Nadia has created with Pascal and Court and their friends and families.
