Review: Daddy in Disguise (Crescent Cove #7) by Taryn Quinn
DADDY IN DISGUISE (CRESCENT COVE #7) Macy's undeniably attracted to her contractor Gideon. She doesn't want to be, and he drives her nuts, but she can't help it. And then she finds out what he's been hiding from her and it makes her even more determined to stay away from the gorgeous man. Or so Gideon thinks. You see, Macy has a stance on the most important part of his life, and she's not about to change that stance. And so these two are doomed to never quite get there despite their insane attraction to each other. But when someone does a thing, and it changes everything, Macy just might not be able to resist Gideon and the part of his life that he never bothered telling her about.
I have long been waiting Macy's story, and it more than lived up to my expectations. She's perhaps the most interesting, toughest character to reside in Crescent Cove. She's everything good a heroine should be - feisty and sassy, tough and independent, and hiding a huge heart. And the man she fell for, Gideon, is more than perfect for her, he's her equal and about the only one (plus one) who could bring out Macy's softer side, the only one(s) to bring her to her knees. I loved their story and finally getting to know Macy and what made her the tough but beautiful woman she is.
The Crescent Cove series just keeps getting better with each couple, can't wait for more!
