Review: Desire at Roosevelt Ranch (Roosevelt Ranch #5) by Elise Faber
DESIRE AT ROOSEVELT RANCH (ROOSEVELT RANCH #5) Rex isn't the type to rescue people. He's more the take from kind. But for some reason, when he sees a gorgeous angel in need of a ride, he can't resist. Who knew his one moment of unselfishness would change his life so thoroughly?
Tilly needs a break. But she's not used to trusting people, especially men. So when known playboy, Rex, rescues her when her car breaks down, she's understandably suspicious and skeptical of his motives. But as the time flies by and he keeps rescuing her, and he is just there when she needs him, something in her melts. Can he finally be the one who sticks? Who stays? Her white knight, even though she has never had anyone like that before?
I gotta tell you...this one sorta got to me. I felt so badly for Rex and Tilly, especially Rex. He was just so lost, had been so thoughtlessly looked over by his family, when all he wanted was to be loved like his twin was. It was only natural that he'd act out considering how they made him feel - like he wasn't good enough, wasn't as good as his twin. And poor Tilly! Damn. A bit of a heartbreaker this one is. I loved Desire at Roosevelt Ranch. It's heartfelt, sexy, and Rex and Tilly are an amazing couple.
