Review: The Fall of Legend (Legend Trilogy #1) by Meghan March
THE FALL OF LEGEND (LEGEND TRILOGY #1) Gabriel Legend is a man with the proverbial weight of his world on his shoulders. He's of the streets. His fists have seen their way onto more than one face. He's not some wealthy overlord sitting in a penthouse. No, he's the opposite of that. And then there's Scarlett. She is his opposite. She's the wealthy one. A socialite who wants to be loved, especially by her dad. And she wants the delicious Gabriel and means to have him. Will Gabriel allow himself to be had? He knows better...
If you're looking for a quick resolution and an HEA, I suggest you hold off on reading The Fall of Legend until all three installments of the Legend Trilogy have been released, because you won't find either of those two things in this first part of the trilogy. This installment sets up Gabriel and Scarlett's worlds, so there's a lot going on here. I can't tell exactly where it's going, but what I do know is that I love Gabriel and Scarlett, especially Scarlett. She evolves quite a bit in a relatively short time frame. She's awesome! Gabriel is an alpha to be sure, but less of the controlling, perfectly composed type, and more of the wounded bear type. I loved their chemistry - it's yummy. I can't wait to see where Meghan takes these two next when House of Scarlett releases.
