Ava has had a crush on superstar hockey player, Oliver, since freshman year, but he's always been wrapped up his mean girl girlfriend. Now that he's single, though, she's not really interested. Or isn't she? When he overhears a conversation between Ava and her friend, Oliver sees it as the perfect way to make his move.
Oliver may have sworn off women since his brutal breakup, but he can't help but notice the gorgeous new dancer where he bartends. He has a feeling she looks familiar, but that's not why he's so interested. He's intrigued that she seems to dislike him. And then the perfect opportunity to make his move lands in his lap. Will Ava allow him past her shields?
Oliver and Ava's story is what I always look for in a Jacob Chance story - sexy, witty, and engaging. Their relationship really worked, from her "dislike" of him at first, through their fake date, clear til the last page of their adorable epilogue. Can't wait for more college hockey romance now!
