The Navy SEAL's Secret Baby
When curvy Sophie Chambers walks in on her boyfriend cheating on her, she drowns her sorrows in tequila. Lots and lots of tequila. When she wakes the next morning in bed with a man who's name she can't remember, she does the only thing she can...run.

Navy SEAL David Marshall is celebrating his retirement when he stumbles across the woman he's been dreaming about for two years. The attraction is still hotter than ever. When she drops a bomb on him, he's determined she won't get away this time. Not when she's the mother of his child.

A Second Chance at Love
Callie Foster never expected to feel such a strong connection to the sexy former SEAL her friend introduced her to. She only thought about having a little fun now that she'd regained her confidence after surviving an abusive relationship. Except he pushed her away.

Kyle Harper barely survived the war, returning home with one less limb. He begins a brief affair with a gorgeous nurse, but breaks it off knowing it won't go anywhere. She'll only leave him like everyone else in his life. When he runs into her a few weeks later, he realizes what a fool he was.

MY REVIEW
In The Navy SEAL's Secret Baby, Sophie and David get a second chance after she sneaks out on him the morning after their hot one night stand. But she has a secret that might make him think differently about her, about the reunion he's been dreaming of since she sneaked away from him.

This one is sweet and sexy and David and Sophie are a great couple even though their story could have used more fleshing out and a less rushed ending.

This time it's Sophie and David's best friends, Callie & Kyle, who get their own second chance in A Second Chance at Love. Though they shared an intense connection, Kyle's insecurities because of his PTSD and loss of a limb cause him to push her away and break both their hearts. But their second chance could be in their grasps when they see each other again in a twist of fate. But this time, the two will have to communicate and be open to love if they want to make it work.

I liked this one more than The Navy SEAL's Secret Baby, because Kyle in particular is endearing, with his sweet nature and insecurities that he fights hard to get past.

All in all, a nice short story collection of two SEALs and the women they love.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
