Review & Blog Tour: Madam Temptress (The Magnolia Duet #2) by Meghan March

Madam Temptress Blog Tour
Release Date: April 14, 2020
From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes the stunning conclusion to the highly-anticipated Magnolia Duet.

I didn’t choose this path. No one would.
I played the cards I was dealt.
This life made me. This city made me.
I won’t apologize for who I’ve become.
Moses wouldn't have me any other way.
He says he wants forever, and I’m starting to believe him.
But I can’t outrun my past, and my sins are catching up with me.
If it’s time to atone, I’ll gladly pay my penance.
We might be getting our second chance, but we have to make it out alive first.

Madam Temptress is the conclusion of the Magnolia Duet and should be read after Creole Kingpin.

MY REVIEW

Magnolia isn't thrilled, to put it mildly, when Madam Temptress begins, and Moses is on set to bear her wrath. Will he have a reasonable explanation for the revelation that Mount dropped? For his sake, he better...

But this honestly will not be the worst or last obstacle this second chance couple will have. There's someone out there coming for Magnolia, and she'll need to call on all the savvy, all the fierce street smarts she's gained over the years, and her people (Moses, Mount, and co.) if she, if they, are going to make it through the storm sweeping through Louisiana with her in its sights.

"Magnolia Marie Maison can have my fucking soul too."

Damn! I love Madam Temptress!!! Why? Well lots of reasons, but the main one is Magnolia. She's a fierce warrior who loves with intensity, will all her heart. And Moses is the lucky man who gets that love. Thank God he FINALLY came back for her because she, of all the people, deserved love and happiness. I love that Meghan gave her her second chance with the only man to ever have her heart. Their story is signature Meghan - sexy and intense, suspenseful and intriguing, and features her best heroine yet in Magnolia, and a hero in Moses who is Magnolia's equal in every way.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
