Review & Blog Tour: Throne Away by Leddy Harper

Throne Away, a standalone single father, royal romance by best-selling author Leddy Harper is NOW LIVE!
I’ve always believed that love was hard and when you found it, you held onto it with everything you have.

That wasn’t the case with Ryan.

Loving him was easy, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t hold onto him.

Because I wear a crown.

And he's a single father raising a child...five thousand
miles away.

MY REVIEW
Moira feels the weirdest sense of déjà vu when she first meets Ryan. And when they find that actually have a connection from their past, it feels right. All except for the tiny little detail she's been keeping from him, a detail that can prevent their entire relationship from being.

Throne Away is one of those sweet, lighthearted reads that sometimes you're just in the mood for. I really enjoyed it and thought Ryan and Moira were a great couple, made even better by the addition of his adorable daughter, and secondary characters like Patrick and Libby. I'm used to royal romances being a bit more angsty and heavy, but I appreciated how sweet this one is.

EXCERPT
I stilled on the corner and looked toward the dark sky. With a deep breath, I closed my eyes and imagined Daniel’s face. A smile took over my lips until my cheeks burned and ached, something I hadn’t experienced in a while. But all of that quickly vanished when I heard the harsh sound of heavy footsteps coming closer. And then came the voice I was expecting. “Don’t move!”

Even though I didn’t have to turn around to know it was my security, I did so anyway. Andrew came up from behind while Patrick sprinted toward me from my left. Running from them wasn’t an option—not like I would have anyway. They were there to protect me, and I was sure they were frantic when they realized I had slipped out of my suite.

“What are you doing out here all by yourself?”

Andrew held my forearms and searched my face for any sign of distress. “You are a princess, Moira. You can’t roam the streets like a commoner.”

And just like that, the clock struck twelve. My coach turned into a pumpkin, my dress into rags, and my bracelets into the shackles that kept me a prisoner.

I was back to reality.

About Leddy Harper
Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child.

She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped.

She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.

She is now a mother of three girls, leaving her husband as the only man in a house full of females.

The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. Most importantly Leddy wanted to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.

Cover Reveal: A Little Luck by Tia Louise

Tia Louise has revealed the covers for A Little Luck! Releasing December 14, 2023 Adam Stone is not a saint. He’s six-foot-two, naughty blue eyes, cocky grin, and a bod blessed by the gods. He’s a surfer, a soldier, a pilot, and he’s been my friend since I moved to our small town when we were just kids. But another man took my hand. He took my innocence, took my trust, and broke my heart. I was young. I didn’t know love could be a weapon. I didn’t know the hand that caressed you could also cut you. Now that man is dead, and I’m a single-mom survivor wearing a mask so perfect, no one knows the truth. Trust doesn’t come easy, and surviving is a hard habit to break. But when a plumbing disaster leaves me homeless, one night in Adam Stone’s (supposedly) empty bed changes everything. I’ve hidden my scars so long, I don’t know how else to be, but I want to try. I’m in love with Adam Stone. I love every glance, every wink, every furtive touch… He says he’s different. He sa
