I’m hired to clean up his badboy image, which would’ve been easy if my life wasn’t falling apart.
First, I catch my movie star husband having an affair with his co-star. Then when I return to work, my job is at stake, because Court has gotten himself into trouble...again.
Instead of getting him back in line, I find myself falling for his charm. And into his bed. And against the wall. And, and, and…
Except Kensington charm shouldn’t work on me. Not when I’ve sworn to never ever sleep with a client.
I had good intentions.
I really did.
But we all know the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

MY REVIEW
Anna comes home from finding out her husband has cheated on her, and the last thing she needs in her life is to have to play fixer for her most obnoxious client - bad boy troublemaker, Court, the mayor's son, and pain in her ass. Not only does she not need to have to fix his latest screwup, but she also doesn't need an inconvenient attraction to him. Damn, this woman just cannot get catch a break!Court is a screwup for sure, but his attraction to, and feelings for, Anna, could be his redemption, if she'd give into the feelings, and start trusting him...
As enemies to lovers go, The Hating Season is top notch. The line between hate and love is a thin one, and not every author can toe that line without going over the top, but K.A. Linde toed that line perfectly. There's a touch of angst, witty, snarky barbs, serious chemistry, and Court and English are perfect together. Now I'm waiting very anxiously for Katherine and Camden's arranged marriage story, The Breaking Season.
