Once upon a time…
There was a little girl who believed in fairy tales and happily ever afters.
Hoping.
Praying.
Waiting…
For her prince to come.
Together they’d conquer the world.
Slaying dragons, demons, and villains.
Until her Prince Charming let his demons prevail.
She cried and begged and prayed.
She hated him.
She loved him.
She couldn’t save him.
“I’m sorry.”
“I love you.”
Were five words she despised more than anything.
Her fairy tale had become her worst nightmare.
She didn’t know how much more she could take.
She didn’t know love could turn into hate.
There were so many things she didn’t know.
Especially, how to tell him, “No.”

MY REVIEW
Johnny Cash McGraw has demons so overwhelming that they take over his life and cause him to hurt the people he loves most. But what he doesn't understand is that those people still love him, no matter how much he hurts them. Will he ever clean up his act and be the man they know he is hiding beneath the layers of pain?'Til the Last Lyric was painful to read. I'm just going to be honest, because it was. Cash was so damaged, hiding so much raw pain that it practically bled from his pores and made me a little uncomfortable. Even though it was painful to read, I'm still glad I got to read it, though, because I ended up liking it. There's a ton of drama, perhaps a tad too much, intense emotions, lots pain and tears, and finally, some healing and through it all there was Journey, standing beside her man like the amazing woman she is. She's my favorite part of this story, the peace to Cash's chaos, the light to his dark and I'm so glad she finally got the love, and the man, she deserved.
