FROM CHAPTER EIGHTEEN (BAILEY)
A new notification popped up, and Bailey clicked into it before he realized it was from… Travis.
He chuckled as he read the tweet, a response to the image he’d retweeted.
“You’re online, but not with me. Where are you?”
Bailey grinned, typing out a response, and ignored the rising like-count of Travis’s tweet, in the thousands within seconds.
“Didn’t want to wake you. I got breakfast.”
His tweet received less attention, but Travis liked it, and Bailey waited patiently for the response. He could just get up and walk into the bedroom, but for some silly reason, he was having fun.
“My hero. Do you deliver?”
The response made Bailey chuckle. “For a price.”
A pause, a like, then another reply. “I top well.”
Bailey frowned at the tweet, trying to make sense of it, before another came through only seconds later. “Tip*** Shit. That’s not going to go over well.”
Barking out a laugh that Travis surely heard, Bailey typed out a response, because how could he not? “I can attest to both.”
