Review: Acer by A.M. Hargrove
When Acer agrees to a job for his friend, it's one bad decision in a line of bad decisions to come. Except for one silver lining: Isla, the FBI agent whom he ends up working alongside. But the job he agreed to do for his friend pulls him into a world of crime, danger and brutal violence. So as he's falling in love with Isla, it's with a background of danger. Will the two survive everything thrown at them?

Whew, Acer is crazy! Suspenseful and action packed, and more significantly, so emotionally impactful. The horrible things both, especially Acer, went through are admittedly, a bit hard to read and I was horrified for both of them and at the same time, so invested in them as a couple. I loved this story and am impatiently waiting for more.
