Melodie has had it bad for her boss for so long she can't remember a time when she didn't fantasize about him. Unfortunately for her, Cole sees her as his prim assistant and daughter of his mentor, and NOTHING else. So why is she so determined to get him to see her the way she sees him? Asking Cole's sister to help her give her style a redo just might be the ticket to capturing Cole's attention outside of the office and get him to see her as not just an attractive woman, but just might make him take her seriously when she tells him she wants to help him tackle some of the cases his PI firm keeps taking on. Her plan will either make him see her in the same light she sees him, or backfire and turn him off. Either way, she's set on her boss and nothing's going to stop her.

Cole took on the role of father to his siblings, took on all that responsibility, so that all his focus has been caring for them and making their firm a success. So now that they're all adults and no longer need him to be the pseudo parent, maybe it's time for Cole to have some fun, take pleasure in life. His gorgeous assistant could help him with that, if only he'd let her, if only he'd forget the promise he made his mentor...

I gotta just say right off the bat how much I love Melodie. She's sweet and knows what she wants. And I felt for her as Cole unintentionally jerked her around with his hot and cold attitude. Honestly, I wanted her to smack him and dump him just to shake his stupid ass up a little. Thankfully for him he finally came around and gave into his feelings, and not a moment too soon! Sheesh, men... This has been a great series so far - sexy, sweet, with heart, and Cole and Melodie are just as great a couple as Dean and Joelle are in Hot and Sexy. And brother Noah's story is up next, Hot and Bothered. I can't wait to read it!

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
