MY REVIEW
Lucas needs to keep his head down and focus on his new job, not on his new client who happens to be his hot one night stand...

Nicky cannot get his mind off Lucas, whom he spent the hottest night of his life with. And what this rockstar wants, he gets. But the question is, will he be able to keep Lucas once Lucas gives into their powerful chemistry? Not if he cannot figure out the boundaries Lucas tells him (among others) he needs to keep behind with his closest friend, Ryan.

As rockstar romances go, this story is great. It's sexy and reading about a playboy being brought to his knees by love is always entertaining.

Excerpt
They pulled into the parking lot, and Nicky waited for Lucas to park before he took his chance. He reached over and gripped the hem of Lucas’s shirt before pulling him close. He leaned in and pressed their mouths together, Lucas’s warm, pliant lips parting for him with a sigh.

Nicky slid his tongue along Lucas’s, drawing Lucas closer and deeper in. His jeans grew tighter. Lucas eased his hand across Nicky’s muscular thigh and gripped him tightly along the seam of his jeans, fingers inching ever closer to Nicky’s groin. Nicky held back the urge to rock into Lucas’s hand, to thrust his dick close to Lucas’s palm, and instead squirmed in his seat as they kissed.

Nicky pulled back, panting, dick aching and his entire body craving more of Lucas. “It’s a long fucking drive back, but if you want to hang out, I’m sure we can go back to my place. Or, hell, find somewhere close to here. It doesn’t matter to me. I just want you.”

Lucas pulled away, backed up fully into his own seat, and shook his head. “I … I can’t.”

A knot formed in Nicky’s stomach, hard and sour. “Is everything okay?”

Lucas sighed and looked at his hand, which he slowly removed from Nicky’s thigh. “I want to, I really do. You have no idea how much I want to. But I … I don’t want to be anyone’s fuck buddy. Not right now. If I’m going to be with someone, I want to be with them. Or at least know it’s a possibility.”

The words sank in slowly. A wave of nausea washed over him, the sourness inching up his chest. He’d been feeling so good about things, and then … Acid bit at his throat. Nicky swallowed thickly and sat back. I really fucked this up. Looking at his hands, Nicky murmured his response. “I get it.” He didn’t want to get it, but he did. “I had a great time. Thanks for this.”

“Call me if you change your mind.”

Nicky nodded again, but still didn’t look at Lucas. The aching emptiness in his chest threatened to swallow him. “Yeah. Thanks again.” He climbed out of the car and shut the door gently, careful not to slam it, despite the urge to do just that. The anger was at himself, not Lucas, and he didn’t want to make the moment any worse than it had to be. He threw himself into his own driver’s seat and nodded at Lucas as he pulled away. He sat in silence for several long minutes, fighting back tears. Nicky cranked the engine after a while, put the car into gear, and headed home.

Trees passed by in a blur as he drove. What have I done? God, I’m a fucking asshole. He pounded the steering wheel with one fist over and over as he drove, blinking away tears. I’ve ruined everything. What is wrong with me? Why can’t I just be normal?
