MY REVIEW
When Reid's best friend, Caleb, makes Reid promise to protect and watch over Caleb's sister Sienna when the two of them go away to college, Reid goes to such an extreme, it strains their relationship to the point of dissolving. Can a road trip back bring them closer again? Will they finally give into their unacknowledged feelings for each other?

I was so not expecting the intensity of Complicate Me. Nor was I expecting the awful cliffhanger! Yep, that's right, cliffhanger. A truly gut-wrenching one at that. But the story itself is pretty great - so emotionally significant and entertaining, the sexual tension is so thick, and Reid and Sienna's chemistry is absolutely fire. If it weren't for that shitty cliffhanger, this would have been a 5 star read for sure. But the cliffhanger did serve its purpose because now I'm very anxiously waiting for Complete Me!

Complete Me releases July 22
The conclusion of Sienna & Reid's story!

Meet Claire Raye
Not only is Claire Raye a really sweet pen name, it’s actually a pen name for two sarcastic best friends who met through their mutual love of reading. After bonding over books (and wine and cheese), Claire and Raye decided to take the plunge and see if they could write a book together and ta dah… The Rockport Beach Series was born! In addition to their shared love of food and dropping an occasional (read: a lot) of f bombs, the writing duo that is Claire Raye like to write about strong sassy females who aren’t afraid to say what’s on their mind and the overprotective men who fall in love with them.

Writing The Rockport Beach Novels was so much fun, even if book two needed a shared vacation, a stolen bottle of champagne and far too much vodka and POG to get it back on track! Both halves of Claire Raye are married and both of their husbands have a cheeky side that gets plenty of airtime in their books. From their smart mouths to their witty one-liners, there’s plenty of material to use for all those alpha males Claire and Raye love to write about.

While Claire and Raye aren’t sure they’ll ever reveal who they really are – there’s just something about your co-workers knowing you write erotic love scenes that makes having a pen name that much easier – they are definitely going to keep on writing. With several more books out since the Rockport Beach Series released, Claire and Raye are constantly chatting new ideas, new plots and of course, their next couple! So stick around, there’s so much exciting stuff to share with you all!

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
