I’ll keep her safe.
I’ll chase away the demons that left scars on her body and mind.
♥ I’ll teach her what it means to be mine, one lesson at a time. ♥
The first time she obeys my command, I let her know what a good girl she is. Only, this clever, wounded young woman doesn’t believe she deserves me as her protector and runs away to the very place I’ll never find. I can’t save her from the monsters in her mind, or the very real ones trying to find my baby girl in her isolated hideaway in the woods, if she won’t accept me as her guardian.
What I do know is, once I find her again, I’m never going to stop feeding my addiction for her. She’s mine, my body burns for her, and I’m not giving up until she understands she’s bound to me forever.

MY REVIEW
Jasper has never reacted so intensely to a woman before when he meets the gorgeous woman who cuffs him while allowing him refuge from the storm in her tree house. Unfortunately, he has no way of knowing how to get a hold of her once he's back in civilization. Thank God for his friend who lets him in on a little secret. But will Mia find his desires to dominate and Daddy her too much to bear?Mia's shunned the townspeople ever since that night she had to fight to save her life. So when a gorgeous man gets lost in her woods and ends up staying in her tree house for the night, for the first time since then, she's aware of, and desires, a man.
Though a sweet bit of over the top insta-lust, there was actually too much lust and not quite enough story for my tastes. I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of Daddy Doms or the Daddy and little stories in general, but that aspect was not too bad here, actually. What didn't work for me was that they spent far more time in bed than they did communicating, and considering Mia's many, many issues, communication should have been a much bigger part of their relationship. Still, the story is sweet and entertaining for what it is, so 3.5 stars seems fair.

I live on the real life Lost Coast of California, off the grid, on 80 acres with a view to the Pacific Ocean. The location is designated a "frontier territory" and provides lots of writerly inspiration for heroes in the form of cowboys, rugged business owners and old fashioned gentlemen. *Sigh*
