MY REVIEW

Anna is a brand new prosecutor in court when she sees someone important from her past in the courtroom in an orange jumpsuit. What did he do to get into this situation? Is he really a criminal? As the two get reacquainted and the tension between them heats up, the case starts ramping up, too. Not to mention that there are two other men vying for her attention in different ways. Her boss, the gorgeous Nick, and Detective Pierce, the bossy cop on the case. What's a woman to do with three men surrounding her, demanding her attention? Well, for one, try not to get killed while dodging bullets, an MC, and a bunch of other people intent on doing her harm.

Woo boy but this installment of a new series is fun! And much more than the fluff that I was kind of expecting from the blurb. Anna is a smart, amazing heroine who has got her work cut out for her trying to navigate a dangerous case, a new love interest(s) and keeping herself alive, all while trying to figure out what (who) her heart really wants. I have my favorite, and am firmly on a certain guy's team, but we'll see how it plays out in coming installments of this exciting and fun new series.
