Review & Release Blitz: Lead Player (Everyday Heroes World) by Alex Grayson

Lead Player by Alex Grayson is now live!

Don't miss this spicy, one-night stand, contemporary romance written in K. Bromberg's Everyday Heroes Worlds project.

Would you spend one wild night with a sexy stranger?

I wasn't looking for love... more like a one-night stand.

Hey, a woman has needs. And it couldn't possibly end any worse than my last relationship.

If catching my long-term boyfriend getting plowed by his handsome best friend wasn't bad enough... the fact that they were in our bed should be.

So, yeah. I'm good with one wild night with a complete stranger.

I just didn't expect him to be so damn hot! I couldn't tear my eyes away--even when he caught me staring. It was as if an invisible force held me captive in his lust-filled gaze.

We agreed, just one night. But the next morning I woke up in an empty bed feeling more alone than I expected.

Little did I know I would see my mystery man again. But the next time we would be standing beside our best friends as they said, "I Do."

Not only was my one-night stand the best man... it turns out he's the cocky lead singer of popular band Phenix.

No wonder he rocked my world, he's had plenty of practice.

MY REVIEW
When Alaina has a hot night with a gorgeous man, she's disappointed when he sneaks out the next morning without a word. But she gets over it and moves on. But you can imagine her surprise (and displeasure) when her best friend's fiancé's best friend and best man turns out to be her one night. Only he has a different name and she comes to find out he's actually a famous rockstar. Yeah, she knew he looked familiar but couldn't place him. Now she knows and it makes her even more glad he didn't stick around afterward because she is not about players, wanting instead a committed relationship with a nice man. Manwhore rockstars like Enzo simply aren't capable of giving her what she's looking for.

Except perhaps Enzo is tired of the empty nights with women only looking to grab onto his fame. But can he convince Alaina he wants, and is capable, of more?

I mostly liked this entertaining story, but I had to take half a star off because the drama near the end was too much for me. Enzo behaved horribly and said something pretty unforgivable in my eyes. If he had said it to me, he would have been kicked to the curb and would have been out of my life permanently.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
