Author: Nicole Snow
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: September 3, 2020
Blurb
From Wall Street Journal bestselling author Nicole Snow comes an intense, heartwarming, and funny standalone read where friends-to-lovers insanity is fate for two stubborn hearts.
Just friends? Is a peach pie to the face “just” a little mishap?
I know what I felt the day Quinn Faulkner saved me from death by dessert.
My best friend was always The One. The Impossible.
Older. Flawless. Brutally gorgeous. A small-town prince of summer crushes.
Leagues above a tag-along dance nerd like me.

Years later, my uncle needs a goat wrangler. I just need an escape.
What better way to flee a cheating ex and dumpster fire career?
What better way to collide with the boy who got away?
And now he's an atrociously hot, mysterious, overprotective beast.

Breathe in. Breathe out.
I'm grown up now.
Unmoved by his slayer charms and heart-stompy memories.
I can't stay to unravel his darkness—or savor his vows to protect me.
We're safely platonic.

Until the Ferris wheel incident.
Then we're alone with a tension so thick you can chew it.
Quinn kisses me like no tomorrow. Truly. Madly. All in.
I wanted to piece my life back together.
Will shattering the best friend zone leave us whole or heartbroken?

Full-length romance thriller with a Happily Ever After made of laughter, tears, and smiles. Two friends meant to be fall so hard it hurts with a little help from a scheming granny, a tribe of goats, and one big dog.

MY REVIEW
Tory can't believe Quinn is the one rescuing her from being tangled up in her new job as a goat wrangler for her Uncle Dean. Quinn, the always sweet older boy who was her fast friend but with whom she lost contact years ago. Now they're back in the same small town and there's chemistry between them, such serious chemistry. But nothing can come of it because she's heading back to the city as soon as her knee is healed from surgery, and he is trying to keep the danger from his job from encroaching on his personal life. But that chemistry I mentioned? Yeah, it's not going away and soon Tory and Quinn are falling headlong. He just has to make sure he keeps her safe and figures out how to keep that job from permanently ending whatever might be happening to his best friend turned more.

I loved this friends to lovers story. It's suspenseful with action, crazy, helpful goats, a lovable protective dog, and smokin' hot tension between two amazing leads.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
