Cierra and Spencer need healing. Both physically and emotionally. Who knew a road trip together would accomplish so much?
I don't recall reading anything before by this author, but her style is pretty great. I loved Cierra and Spencer's journey to love. Their chemistry is hot, their dialogue is fun and witty, and the way they healed each other is more than a little emotionally satisfying. I will definitely be reading more by Ariana Rose.

Juniper really has no idea what she's doing when she's assigned to cover the sports beat. So she rolls with it and her brand of quirky and funny really resonates with the audience. Now she's a bonafide star sports reporter. So it's really ironic that she literally runs into a star football player and has no idea the hottie with muscles and dimples is a famous athlete. Will she put the halt on anything happening when she finds out who he is? Is she even allowed to date an athlete?
I LOVED quirky, sassy Juniper with her sweet jock with the dimples. Their chemistry was smokin' and I love how much he loved her curves, her quirkiness, and how absolutely perfect they were for each other.

2 romance authors come together and decide to co-write. Sounds good. But there's more to their partnership than just co-writers. There's an intense attraction, scars from the past, one determined af man, and one broken woman.
Jenna was not expecting the force of nature that is Soraya and Graham's adult child. But there's no way their child would be less than the persistent, intense man Enzo is. That he focused all that intensity and attention on someone as broken as Jenna was just her luck. Her very good luck because she needed someone like him who would put her first, who would not leave, who would prove to her that love does not abandon the way she had been raised to think. I loved this addition to the Cocky Hero Club!

Kenlyn's damaged. Asher's damaged. Funny how that very thing draws them to each other. But will Asher ever learn to get past his demons enough to let Kenlyn in? He just may lose her if he can't open up and bare his heart to her.
Dang but this one was a bit heartbreaking. These two characters had it rough, especially Asher. But I love how Kenlyn was there for him. She was his rock even when he pushed her away. I think of all the Cocky Hero Club releases this round, this one is my favorite, and the most emotional too. I loved these two together even as I felt so badly for them. 5 beautiful stars!

Still, I ended up liking Callie, Ford, and Bastion, and Soraya made appearances, too, so I couldn't complain too much.
