About BLACKLISTED
From the New York Times bestselling author of the Marked Men series comes an irresistible and suspenseful romance between a doctor who plays by the rules and the outlaw who breaks them in order to protect her.

Dr. Presley Baskin has always lived a quiet, calm life. Unfortunately, nothing about her life in Loveless, Texas -- especially not the wild, rowdy, and impossibly close-knit Lawton family who've claimed her -- is quiet or calm. Which is how loner Presley finds herself roped into patching up local bad boy Shot Caldwell against her better judgment. Presley wants nothing to do with the dangerous, brooding leader of the local outlaw motorcycle club. But when someone starts stalking her, Shot is the only person she trusts to help. Plus he owes her one . . .

Palmer 'Shot' Caldwell has always known his life isn't made for relationships. At least until shy, secretive, Presley reluctantly pulled a bullet out of him. He's oddly protective of the pretty doctor, so when she comes to him for help, hard-hearted Shot suddenly realizes there's nothing he wouldn't do to keep her safe.

MY REVIEW
Presley's not exactly thrilled her sister Kody has called needing her help. And she's especially not thrilled to find the scene she comes upon when she arrives and finds what she's been called in to help with - help the club's prez fight to stay alive by taking out the bullet lodged in his body. But she knows immediately if she doesn't go with the men when they transport him, that Shot's chances of surviving are low, so she takes it upon herself to go and supervise. When he survives, Shot knows he owes Presley a debt, a debt he wants to repay as soon as he's up and moving. He just had no idea how he'd end up really feeling about the calm and cool doctor...

I liked this installment of Loveless, Texas much more than Kody's story. For one, Presley and Shot are an excellent couple. Their contrasting personalities make them a perfect match, and the ending scenes really cemented their bond. Their chemistry is smokin hot, the storyline is fast paced and satisfying reading, and I'm really sad now that this series has come to an end and I won't get more of the men and women of Loveless, Texas.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
