BLURB
Leaving Colorado wasn’t my first choice.
It wasn’t even my second.
But when the job of a lifetime in Rhode Island presented itself, who could say no?
I could fulfill my two years and then move back home. It was the perfect plan.

What I didn’t count on, however, was him...
Doctor Desirable.
Beautiful, smart, arrogant, and such a prick.

Staying away from him should be easy.
It should be a no brainer.
Never date coworkers. Period.
Especially one who could get me fired with the snap of his talented fingers.

The consequences to giving into temptation could be dire.
Everything I’ve worked for could vanish.
Getting closer to him could prove to be catastrophic…
Or it could be just what the doctor ordered.

Doctor Desirable is a contemporary workplace/doctor romance inspired by British Bedmate.

MY REVIEW
Dee is starting over in Rhode Island. She's got a job as a PT, and ready to have that good life. Everyone seems nice except one broody, jackass of an arrogant ortho surgeon, Nathan Alexander. She's not sure why he dislikes her so much, but she is not about to put up with his rudeness toward her. And it's that defiant, put up with no bs attitude of hers that draws him to her, even though it's highly unwillingly on his mind's part. No matter, his body may want her, but no way will he allow himself to mix business and pleasure.

Inevitably, though, the two are unable to resist, and soon are indulging in that hot attraction. But Nathan's untrusting personality combined with a messy turn of events leads to a big breakdown between the two. Will Dee ever forgive him for his turning his back on her in such a hurtful manner? If I had been her, I can say, hell no, but if you want to find out, you'll need to read yourself. I liked this story, loved Dee and her awesome, sweet and caring personality, but Nathan's cold, asshole personality caused me to take off an entire star. I could not get past his treatment of Dee, both throughout the story, especially in the beginning before they got involved, and especially near the end when he hurt her so badly. I'd have kicked him to the curb and would have never let him back in, but I hold a mean ass grudge, unlike Dee apparently. But because of Dee's character, and the story itself being entertaining and the chemistry being hot, 4 stars seems fair for this installment of the Cocky Hero Club.

AUTHOR BIO
Yes, that’s Anjelica with a ‘J’ not a ‘G’. You can thank her parents for the birth certificate spelling mix up, but it makes for a unique and fun story.

Anyway, Anjelica Grace is a Denver native living in the same suburb north of the Mile High City that she grew up in. She’s an avid reader, and blogger, turned Contemporary Romance author that has an affinity for crazy socks, Minions, and candy. But not chocolate.

Family and friends are the most important things in Anjelica’s life, but when she’s not with them, you can find her with a book in hand, writing, working as an RBT with autistic children, or studying hard while she pursues her other career dream of becoming a Child Life Specialist.

Still new to the publishing side of things, Anjelica started her journey off in late 2018 by publishing a short story as a part of a Christmas anthology with a group of amazing authors that helped and encouraged her along the way. Once she dipped her toe into the writing waters, that was it, she knew she couldn’t stop or look back again.

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
