Review / Release Blitz: Love in a Small Town (Pine Harbour #1) by Zoe York

Love in a Small Town by Zoe York is now live!
Six years. Two breakups. One divorce.
They should be over each other.

Rafe Minelli knows he won't get a second chance with his ex-wife. The demands of his double career--as a police officer and military reservist--were a dealbreaker when they were together. And he's thrilled for her when she lands a new job with a film company, but it comes with a deadline: when she finishes this project, she's leaving town for good.

Olivia has no reason to stay in Rafe's tiny hometown, where the only job she could find was waiting tables in the local diner. But she couldn't move on until she figured out what she wanted next in life. Now she's been tasked with the unlikely role of ambassador for a town that has done nothing but break her heart, and discovering unexpected surprises at every turn.

They aren't the same young kids who rushed into marriage the first time. But as summer slides into fall, Rafe sets out to prove he's a changed man before he loses her forever.

MY REVIEW
Rafe may be divorced from his ex-wife, but he is still in love with her. They both still live in the same small town, see each other often, so why can't they have a second chance? Can he show her he's changed?

I loved this second chance story the first time I read it, and it's even better in its re-release. Rafe and Olivia are just such a real couple, the kind you know, the kind you root for. And I was definitely rooting for them to finally get their happiness that they so deserved.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
