Those manipulative a-holes set out to ruin me after our hot night together, but they didn’t realize you can’t destroy something that’s already broken. And it only works if the victim cares.

Which I don’t.

Because I’ve been in hell for years, and nothing penetrates the steel walls I’ve erected.

MY REVIEW
Resurrection: 4 stars
Harlow's in a world of pain from her father's passing when she spends the night with Saint, Galen, Caz, and Theo, and changes her world. Not necessarily for the better, though. Or is it?

I realllly want to do a chatty review, but for the sake of spoilers, I'll leave it short and just say that Resurrection is just as dark and twisty (and just as good) as Siobhan's Rydeville Elite series, with even more action and over the top craziness. I'm still not sure what to think of the 4 lead guys, but I can safely say I love Harlow. She's tough, smart, and literally kickass. She has all kinds of training and she's not afraid to take charge and kick ass. My kind of woman! Of course there's a crazy af cliffhanger, though, so now I'm dying with anticipation as I wait for Rebellion to land on my Kindle!

Rebellion: 5 stars
Hot damn but Rebellion is intense! It picks up where Resurrection left off, and Harlow's being the badass woman she is. Even at 18, you can tell she's going to take the world by storm because she's strong, physically and emotionally, and she's got the physical skills to defend herself and kick the asses of the men stupid enough to underestimate her. She's kinda my girl crush right now cuz she rocks.

As for the relationship between Harlow and her boys, well let's just say that it deepens, it gets even hotter and finally the guys' individual personalities are coming forward. I still don't have a favorite, but I have decided I like all of them now. In Resurrection, I wasn't really sure if I liked the guys even as I fell in love with Harlow's awesome personality, but Siobhan really pulled out all the stops and developed the guys' personalities as much as she developed the plot with all the action and suspense. Being that this is a reverse harem and not a love penta (I guess that's what it's called when it's 5 people involved), it's not a competition and Harlow doesn't have to choose a specific guy, thankfully, because each guy brings something different to the penta, and Harlow loves them all.

Like in Resurrection, a lot of stuff happens, a ton of action and intrigue, and even more questions are put forth. Of course there's a holy shit now cliffhanger, and now I'm sitting here fuming that I can't read the next installment right this second.

Reign: 4 stars
It all goes down, FINALLY, in Reign. It picks up where Rebellion left off, and the action doesn't stop until the very end. The 5 of them fall more in love, the villains get their comeuppance, and they end with some happiness, FINALLY.

Bonus Novella: 4 stars
The bonus novella is like a bunch of epilogues put together. The 5 of them are shown in the future where they're happily married, but something has put a strain on Saintly, and Lo isn't sure how much longer she can take it. An intervention, some hot lovin', and the sweet conclusion to this steamy, action-packed story about one badass chick, Harlow, and her men, Saint, Galen, Caz and Theo.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It
