Hailey (Elodie & Hollis' niece from Park Avenue Player) is determined to work her way to the top of her company on her own. Though she loves her wealthy aunt and uncle, the ones who lovingly raised her, she shuns financial help. So far she's on her way, then she meets a gorgeous man while on a work trip to Scotland. The cocky kilt-wearing man wants more from her than she's willing to give, even after he finds out a relationship between them is off limits because he's a potential client. Will their connection stay strong even after she heads back to the States?
But there might be more than a potential off-limits situation to deter them, because the walls around Hailey's heart are strong thanks to a deadbeat dad causing damage to her emotional health Hailey may not even be aware she has. Will Ewan's sweetness and persistence be enough to scale her walls and embed him into her heart? Or will they be doomed to live their lives on different continents without each other?
This is a superb addition to the Cocky Hero Club! I loved Ewan and Hailey together. Jolie Vines took Vi and Penelope's adorable Hailey and made her into a wonderful adult who was lucky enough to be paired with a gorgeous sweet Scot who was her equal in every way. I can say I've never been more proud to be an adopted Scot than after reading this sexy, sweet story of Hailey and her very own kilt-wearing Scot.
