MY REVIEW
The time has come for Porter to finally let Adele know she's his. The only hitch may be Adele herself. She's not had a lot of luck in love and she's steeled her heart because of her unlucky ways. When Porter makes his move, she's highly sceptical of his motivations. Why does he seem so intent on wooing her? Her of all people? They're friends and he's got a reputation so it makes no sense to her that all the sudden he seems to want her. Oh well, going along with his plans for dating could give her some pleasure she sorely needs. She'll just have to make sure she never reveals the little crush she has on him because she is not about to let him break her heart just so he can add her as a notch to his crowded bedpost.

Oooh boy but Adele was stubborn! And I loved it. She made Porter work for her and she deserved it because she is a great character - sweet, strong, with a big, kind heart. I admit I wasn't too fond of Porter for most, OK, all, of Waiting for Snow, because he was so thickheaded, and I felt like he just brushed his reputation under the rug without giving it the weight it carried with Adele's self-image, but Adele loved him so he got the barest pass from me. I liked the rest of the story, their chemistry is hot, and Adele is fabulous, so 4 stars is more than fair.
