MY REVIEW
When Hollis steps in to help a beautiful woman save face in front of an obviously douchey ex, he never imagines how his and Larissa's lives will end up becoming so entwined.
What I love so much about The Relationship Pact is Adriana's willingness to allow her hero to be boldly vulnerable, even if he's not willing to admit just how broken he is, or how Larissa wants to be there for him. Nothing gets to me more than a man who's one thing to the outside world and quite another to those who love him. Larissa and he were perfect for each other because she saw (and loved) the real Hollis and stood steadfastly by him.
I have loved this series so far, but I think Hollis and Larissa's story is my favorite because he's so definitely a beautiful soul who deserves all the love he has, even if he doesn't see it, doesn't think he deserves it. Thank God he had Larissa because she was as beautiful a soul as he, and wasn't afraid to let him know she was there for him. OK, I'm done shedding a few tears over this heartfelt, sweet story. I only wish there were more Kings of Football coming!
