Review / Release Blitz: His Holiday Crush by Cari Z

His Holiday Crush by Cari Z is now live!
Tis the season for unexpected packages.

Workaholic attorney Max Robertson is one meeting away from making partner at a big NYC firm when his best friend calls and guilts him into coming back home for Christmas. But there's a reason he hasn't been back to Edgewood for a decade--too many bad memories. The plan was to go for just one night, until a wild deer and a snow bank wrecked everything.

Former Army Sergeant Dominic "Nicky" Bell is the new guy on the Edgewood police force, so of course he drew the short straw and is stuck working the night shift. But his evening gets turned upside-down when he gets called out to a wreck in the snow--and it's his one and only high school crush, looking even sexier than he did back then.

When they both end up stranded together at Dominic's house, sparks start to fly and Max isn't sure what to do. But everyone deserves a present this holiday season, right?

MY REVIEW
When Max's best friend's daughter guilts him into agreeing to come visit them for Christmas, it's with dread that Max makes the drive back there, there to a place he never wants to go back. But perhaps Santa thinks he's been a good boy this year because who's the man on duty that night who comes to his rescue when he's stuck in the snow, but Dominic (Nicky), his best friend's little brother. But he's not the same little brother, he's a grown man, a really HOT grown man who Max is having a hard time keeping his hands off when he's stuck at Dominic's house thanks to the storm.

This is the kind of sweet and lighthearted read that's perfect for this holiday season, considering how dark and depressing the world outside is right now. Max and Dominic are adorable together - a little heat, a whole lotta holiday cheer, a brother's best friend trope, and I'm a happy woman after reading.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
