MY REVIEW
Eve wants a forever kind of relationship. Unfortunately, the guy she can't get out of her mind wants the opposite of forever. So she'll just have to do her best to get past her crush on Miles, because his lifestyle of one night stands and no commitment are in absolute contrast to her and what she wants for her future.
Miles was betrayed by his ex and it left serious scars on on his heart. So much so that now he doesn't trust, doesn't want love or commitment. But when Eve keeps popping up in his life, he can't resist any longer. When she needs his protection from the same thing menacing their town, Miles finally realizes how he feels about her, and will do what it takes to protect her. Will they get a chance at the happiness they've worked so hard for?
Miles' and Eve had to go through so much to get to their happiness, and I loved reading as they worked through everything. Their story was a bit angsty, emotional, and steamy. I can't wait for the next story in Carmel Cove now!

After graduating with her doctoral degree, she now enjoys spending that thing called free time traveling with her husband, cooking, and knitting.
