Review / Release Blitz: Formula (The Driven World) by J.M. Kelley

JM Kelley's Formula is a steamy, suspenseful, emotionally charged contemporary romance written in K. Bromberg's Driven World!

Racing is in my blood. Jace is in my soul.

Confident, fearless, female Indy race car driver, Charlotte Brooks, is determined to be the best.
She's never had it easy in a sport full of testosterone, always battling obstacles.

When faced with threats and sabotage on her new team, sparks fly when she meets her new bodyguard. She never imagined she'd fall in love with the broody alpha, Jace Nova, but can't seem to resist him.

When given the opportunity to run in the most prestigious race in the sport, the Indy 500, the stakes become even higher, and Charlie must battle her demons on and off the track. When her past collides into her future, Jace must protect what's his and prove his love.

Can Charlotte race to the finish line when Jace is keeping secrets, or will they both crash and burn?

MY REVIEW
Charlie (Charlotte) is a female Indy driver who has all the men in an uproar for daring to invade their racing territory. When one person out there takes things too far and starts harassing her, protection is needed. Her new bodyguard may be a hot, broody former Marine, but Charlie's not interested in anything (or anyone) distracting her from her racing dreams. Or isn't she?
Jace's life is upended when he's assigned his new protectee, the gorgeous woman he first met at a bar. Can the two of them with all their individual baggage and demons make a relationship work, or will Jace walk away when something in his life is too much for him to subject Charlie to?

Female racers are always an interesting subject for me to read, but Charlie was especially interesting. I love her strength and her big heart, and how she interacted with her boss. But I especially loved her and Jace together - hot, sweet, and more than a little intense, the perfect high octane read.

Meet JM Kelley
JM Kelley loves to write steamy hot romance almost as much as she loves to read it. She grew up in Long Island New York, and just recently, took the Florida plunge with her husband of thirty years(real-life book boyfriend). She has three, extremely handsome sons, and taught each one of them the difference between a curveball and a fastball. She is a lover of baseball and has been a Yankee fan, wearing pinstripes since the day she was born. If you can't find her reading or writing, she's probably in Disney World since that's her favorite place to be on earth.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
