Review / Release Blitz: Lizzy Goes Brains Over Braun (Billionaire Baby Club #1) by Jasinda Wilder

Lizzy Goes Brains Over Braun, an all-new laugh out loud rom com standalone from New York Times bestselling author Jasinda Wilder is available now!
It was just supposed to be just a 40th birthday prank for our boss after a wild night of girlfriends, laughter, and a LOT of margaritas.

When we placed the ad in the newspaper, we never thought anyone would actually answer it.

We also didn’t think that Laurel would be so brainless as to put Lizzy’s actual phone number in the ad…

Beautiful, successful single woman, 40, seeks attractive male billionaire to impregnate her the old fashioned way. No strings. NOT seeking sugar daddy. Validation required. Serious inquiries only, please.

What could possibly go wrong? Everything.

MY REVIEW
When Lizzy's friends put her phone number in the ad they laughingly made up during a girls' night, it brings about a change in her life in the form of a gorgeous, sweet man named Braun. The ad was simple in its text, and it was supposed to be a simple way to get Lizzy a baby with no strings required from the man. What really happens, though, is of course quite the opposite, as life cannot be directed with such a strict hand the way Lizzy wants.

Lizzy Goes Brains Over Braun is a cute, sweet, rollicking start to a new series. I loved how fun Lizzy and her friends were, but most of all, I loved Braun. God, talk about swoony! I may have gotten more than a bit irritated with Lizzy's hot and cold act with Braun, and for not allowing herself to be happy, but Braun being the sweetheart he was more than made up for any of Lizzy's ridiculousness. I really liked this fun story - can't wait for Holly and Seven's story next.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
