Title: Sins at St. Joseph's Academy
Series: The Fallen Book 1
Author: MV Ellis
Genre: Contemporary/Bully/NA Romance
Release Date: January 29, 2021
The Fallen

Beautiful. Brutal. Wicked as sin.

Five guys with the power of ten, and a burning desire to take me down.

They rule the school with cast iron fists, and stone cold hearts.

But the more they push me away, the more our destinies intertwine.

We’re thrown together by chance, bound by circumstance, and held by desire.

Our story is one of lies, revenge, blackmail, and blood.

The Fallen won’t be stopped, but nor will I.

So in the end, will the mighty be fallen?
Charly & Raine - “Wild parties, hot horny guys, and young woman craving the D gives you all the steam and the banter and sarcasm gives you all the laughs.”

Stephanies Book Reports - “If your a fan of high school bully romances this is one that you do not want to miss.”

Goodreads Review - “Holy smokes this book was intense.”
MY REVIEW
There's a group of rich assholes who run St. Joseph's Academy. Zephyr, Tyce, Thunder, Jagger and Lennon. When they notice the new scholarship student, Blake, it does not bode well for her because these guys are not thrilled she's there, and they're not known for treating people well, especially their leader, Zephyr. There's an attraction, though, and Blake will end up deciding what to do with that attraction.

I think I should stop reading bully romances, especially high school and college ones, because they've started to all run together in my mind unless there's something extraordinary about them that forces them to stand apart from the pack. Unfortunately for me, this one had nothing that particularly stood out. The guys are standard issue bullies, especially Zeph. And Blake is bland af with her waffling and indecision. This story isn't horrible, but it's not outstanding among all the other high school bully romance with mean boys and mean girls, rich vs poor, and attraction none knows how to deal with. The cliffhanger was probably the most interesting part for me, but only because I didn't expect what happened in it.
MV ELLIS knows what it’s like to fall head over heels in love with a badass musician. She followed her heart halfway around the world to be with one. She moved from London to Sydney after a steamy holiday romance with a sexy bass player in sultry Brazil.

Twelve years, two children and a dog later, and she’s still smitten. All this with a guy she sat next to on a bus for 36 hours! She has toured internationally as a ‘WAG’, and her experiences inspire her writing.

Ellis’ love of romance began when she was 11 years old, after a summer spent secretly reading her auntie’s books. She’s been a sucker for an alpha hero and strong heroine ever since.

An avid reader, Ellis always knew that she’d write a book of her own one day. She was right about that. Following a career spanning advertising, marketing, and social media, she finally wrote Catching London in 2017. She has continued to expand the Heartless Few series beyond Catching London, with releases planned through to 2020. In addition, she has launched a new four-part series, Rough Ink series, set in the sexy world of a New York tattoo studio. Expect the same sexy badass guys, angst galore, witty banter, scorching bedroom scenes, and kickass sassy women; but with a whole new world, and cast of characters to get to know and love. Zed, the first book in the series launched in June 2019.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It
