Tessa knows Tibbs' reputation, and it's not good. Unfortunately, she can't help being attracted to the gorgeous man, player that he is and all. But it doesn't matter because he's not interested in her. Until he is. Until one night at his sister's club and he finally notices her as someone other than just a regular ol' officer of the law. But because of that rep of his, she's decidedly not interested in anything with him, so she puts him off. She doesn't realize her sass and indifference just make him all the more interested. Can the firefighter woo the cop into seeing things his way?

This is a sweet, witty, and sexy story. I loved Tessa's strength and feistiness, and how independent she was. And I really loved how much those things attracted Tibbs to her. Their chemistry is hot and their banter was all kinds of deliciously snarky and sexy. I am really excited now for the next Hot in the City installment.

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length.
