BLURB
He's a danger on and off the track.
Danger Hudson has made a career out of doing things the hard way. The tabloids have nicknamed him the 'Bad Boy of Racing' and he proves them right at every turn.
WIld parties.
Fast women.
And even faster cars.
Until his manager finally slams the brakes and hatches an absurd plan to calm the press—pretend to be engaged to Monterey Grander, the drop-dead gorgeous daughter of the team's owner.
She's pretentious.
She's high-class.
And she's entirely too good for him.
But why can't Danger stop imagining a life with her?
When the past crashes into the present, will Danger be able to get everything he's been searching for? Or will the truth he's trying so desperately to hide come out and ruin them both.

MY REVIEW
Danger has gotten himself into trouble one too many times when the head of his racing team decides something needs to be done to control all the negative press. His solution? A fake engagement to his daughter, Monterey. The too classy, too good for him woman who, under any other circumstances, he would love to take to his bed. If he wants to keep his position on the team, though, he will keep his hands (and his lips) to himself.
Monterey knows better than to get involved with another bad boy, especially a racer, but if she wants to prove to her dad that she's the one to take over running their team when retires, then she has to do whatever it takes. A little fake engagement with the man who looks like (and acts like) sin incarnate will just have to be a stepping stone for her on her way up to the top. No touching allowed though because she knows her body will not cooperate with her on this...
Damn, Danger and Monterey are smokin' hot! His damaged soul just yearning for someone to calm his inner demons, her steadfast, rock solid will complemented each other and they fit seamlessly with each other. Though they started off as a fake engagement, it was obvious from their first on page meeting that there was something positively electric in the air surrounding them. Logan writes some of the hottest heroes, usually damaged and broody like Danger, and some of the best heroines with huge hearts and sassy, strong personalities who bring their men to their knees, and I feel like Monterey and Danger just may be one of his best couples to date. Danger not only is signature Logan with searing intense chemistry and a strong storyline, but it is a very worthy addition to K. Bromberg's Driven World.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
