Jules just wants Grant to find a little bit of peace on the island, his hometown, where his family and friends reside, all of whom love him. So she'll be her persistent best at getting him to smile, get him to find something to brighten up his life and bring him back to his loved ones. She'll just have to keep her inconvenient little crush on him shoved down deep inside where no one can see through her.
Grant has been lost since he came back home without one of his legs, and without his brotherhood. So he's been hiding away in a rented cottage, deep in his head, distant from his family and friends. Then Jules, one of his best friend's sisters, flies her pixie self back into his life and just will not leave him alone, always present with her beautiful smile and beautiful heart, trying to get him to lighten up a little, to come back to his loved ones. So what if he might have some dirty thoughts about her? He's no good for her, so he'll just have to keep her at arm's length. Sounds like a great plan, if only he could actually go through with it...
My True Love is beautifully told, emotionally heartwrenching, sexy as hell, with a huge, wonderful cast, and true love. A love story could not get much better than this grumpy war hero and his cheerful pixie.
