Betraying the most powerful man in New York wasn’t something I ever envisioned when I first started playing games with Winston Constantine. But he’s engaged in far more dangerous games than ours, and his enemies are out for blood.

Winston has my heart, the Morellis have incriminating photos, and I’m left with nothing except three stepbrothers who want to hurt me and a future in doubt. I knew Winston wouldn’t be my prince charming, but that didn’t stop me from falling for him.

After all, the slippers fit, and I let myself believe I’d be dancing with Winston forever.

Until too much truth comes to light.

Until I realize instead of ruling the board, I was just a pawn.

In the end, I have only one question. When his game with me is over, will I be able to pretend as if the glass slipper wasn’t a perfect fit?
MY REVIEW
Winston is pissed at his Cinderelliot, so very mad. But he's coming to terms with the fact that he actually has feelings for her. His possessive rage when he thinks she's about to disappear from his life is probably the best catalyst for his epiphany. But don't expect him to be all sweet with candy and hearts with her because that's not who he is, not who they are. Still, though, someone's messed with his girl and they'll pay. She'll pay too, but only in the most pleasurable (and humiliating) of ways...
This Cinderella retelling is epic! It's dirty and kinky af, it's a bit twisted, and it's probably one of the best fairy tale retellings I've ever read. Ash is fabulous, has come a long way from the aimless girl who first scooted through life in Stroke of Midnight. She's grown and matured, and is fierce and fabulous when she realizes she's in love with the dirtiest mfer she's ever met - Winston. Speaking of Winston...I love him! Kinky, downright filthy, with a closed off heart he only just opens up to his Cinderelliot in their conclusion. I give K. Webster so many props for this dirty, dirty, AMAZING modern fairy tale!

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
