Review / Release Blitz: Pieces of Us (Second Chance Sinners #1) by Claudia Burgoa

We bonded through music. We’re bound by sins.
Music might save us.

Pieces of Us by Claudia Burgoa is now live!

Music brought us together. Tragedy bonded us forever.

The Sinners of Seattle were the only family I knew.
That's where I met Ethan "Kill" Killion.
Both of us had bad childhoods. We knew all about unrequited love.
You know what they say... misery loves company.

We shared firsts.
We shared nights.
One of us fell in love. It wasn't him.

After the band broke up, Kill became the CEO of a communications firm.
Turns out, suits suit him. He's found success.
And he's getting married.

He's marrying someone who can't understand him.
Who has no idea what it's like to lose control.
Not to have a future.
I'm trying to stay sober, but it's hard when my world has crumbled.

Unrequited love can destroy you. I know.
But just one call from him reignites our spark.
Now there's no stopping it.
When things get dark, I don't care if I am shattered into pieces.
I just need one last time.

A sexy, angsty, excruciating emotional MM friends-to-lovers rockstar romance by USA Today Bestselling Author Claudia Burgoa. The first book in the Second Chance Sinners duet will leave you with a cliffhanger that might make you lose your breath.

MY REVIEW
Zeke and Ethan are young, teenagers, when they first meet and become bonded for life. They've both been in the system for years when a loving family takes them into their center and gives them their first taste of what a wonderful life can be. Their talent for music is nurtured and they develop strong feelings for each other after time. But though Zeke has no problem with his sexuality (bi), Ethan is deeply in the closet and will not be coming out for anyone or anything. So their relationship has to remain a secret. And that right there is the crux of the entire problem they have clear into their present as adults, famous rockstar adults in a broken up band. Sigh...
Whew, there's a lot going on in this first part of Zeke and Ethan's story. Almost too much at times, which was the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars. But really, I liked this angsty drama. It's not really a romance, but it is a coming of age story, one that I want to finish, especially after that crazy ass cliffhanger! Somehow Finding Us needs to land on my Kindle now because I'm dying after the cliffie. Zeke and Ethan got to me right in the heart and I want to know how, if, they end up together.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
