MY REVIEW
Santiago wants revenge, AGAIN. And he's planning on taking it out on his wife's hide. Yikes...so what follows is both of them believing things about each other, still with all that insanely hot chemistry, but with even more hate involved. I want them to get on the same page, NOW, but reading this second part was just as dark and twisted and suspenseful as Requiem of the Soul, and to be honest, I was just as frustrated, but just as intrigued, because I just know these authors have something as crazy and excellent as Requiem in store for the conclusion of Ivy and Santiago's story.

I was gratified to find that Santiago (and Ivy) had a glimmer of something other than hate here, though, so it wasn't all black and darkness. Unfortunately, they didn't much develop or explore those feelings, but at least they acknowledged them, to themselves, if not to each other or to others. I have hope this means something positive for them is to come. I surely hope so because this couple has burrowed their way into my mind, and I'm dying to find out what will become of them.

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women?
