Connor was dealing with his ex when he first met Elle, and he's still to this day having to deal with her tirades, her anger, and her basic goal in life to make his life that much more difficult as he tries his hardest to spend as much time with his daughter as is possible. He doesn't have time, or the inclination, for a relationship, but he isn't sure he can resist Elle any longer. He was attracted three years ago and even more so now. Can the two of them have something even though his mind is telling him to keep away?
Elle and Connor take quite a journey in Bossing the Cowboy. From intern/boss who have to hide their unknown but mutual attraction to colleagues who still try to hide that attraction, to the very last page of the sweetest epilogue. It was such a ride, with angst, hot and cold emotions, chemistry in spades, and lovable characters. I love all the cowboys and cowgirls of Circle B Ranch and cannot wait for more.
