Review / Release Blitz: Crazy for You (Annapolis Harbor #4) by Lea Coll

Crazy for You by Lea Coll is now live!
Renovating a bed and breakfast may build more than they imagined....

Nolan
The job was to renovate a bed and breakfast, not to fall head over tool belt for the sexy proprietor and single mom. Juliana Breslin is sassy, witty, determined and has the two most amazing twin daughters. Two girls that have wrapped their way around all my fingers. The only problem is -I don’t do relationships and I don’t like being tied down. She’s stubborn and feisty and it doesn’t make sense at all. My defenses were firmly in place but Juliana and her daughters have scaled the walls and landed firmly in my heart. I’ll do anything for Juliana and her girls, except for being the man in her life.

Juliana
When I finally waved goodbye to my cheating ex, I couldn’t wait to live my dream. Renovating a bed and breakfast with two girls is no easy task, especially after the first contractor ran off with my money leaving me literally in the trenches. Nolan Morison was not what I had in mind when I hired on a new contractor. He’s stubborn, irritable and completely irresistible. I’ve fallen for the sawdust, tool belts and sexy scruff before…I won’t do it again. The worst part (or best part) is that he’s drawn my shy daughter out of her shell when no one has managed that before. But Nolan isn’t looking for a happily ever after, and I’m not willing to waste time on anything else.
MY REVIEW
Juliana is starting over, having decided to renovate a b&b as a way to make a living for her and her daughters. Her new contractor seems so reluctant at first to interact with her and her daughters. He's gorgeous but very closed off. But as time goes by he and the girls bond, and Juliana's reluctance to have anything to do with love and relationships again has left the building. But is Nolan on the same page as she? Or is he going to break her heart even worse than her ex did?

Wow, I was not expecting just how badly damaged Nolan was. I felt so badly for him, just wanted to give him a big hug. Then there was Juliana, I felt just as badly for her, but she was so strong, such a great mother and dealing with so much all at once. She and Nolan were so good together, had such a strong connection that I knew they would find their way. I've been loving the Annapolis Harbor series, and Juliana and Nolan made it that much better.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Review Blitz: The Challenge by Penelope Ward

Title: The Challenge: A Single Dad Romance Author: Penelope Ward Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance Tropes: Single Dad, Second Chance, Forced Proximity Friends to Lovers, Small Town, Found Family Release Date: August 30, 2026 BLURB From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward comes a new, STANDALONE contemporary romance… Nothing says welcome home like accidentally moving in with your first heartbreak…and his little girl. Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
